Its crap! Its not free! Ive just downloaded and so far Ive searched 4 words and all 4 of them it says its not available on this version, that I have to download the paid full version!

The dictionary shows pronunciation variations in both American and British English using IPA. However, there is only one audio example of each, which makes it no different from other dictionaries.

A very good app and without those annoying popups about rating stars or other bulls... It does what you expect of it in a fine manner.

Yes you can download it for free, and you notice that you have to pay $15 to ACTUALLY start using it. Totally misleading and disappointing!

Just seeing the menu is free. The rest is about $15. What a misleading, what a shame.

Dont buy this app.cause, it only gives sound ABD not anymore thing. Waste of money

I just came across this fantastic app. Ive been playing with the CPD-18 this morning - its so addictive. I hope more dictionaries will be added soon!

So, when I open the app. Type in a word in the search bar and its display... NOTHING! Fake.

What a waste of time! There is nothing in this app! They want you to pay them before they give you the meaning of a word! Nothings ever free from a British organisation. Would have given them a negative star rating...

It is not a free app. There are several words inside. This app should marked as paid not to waste a time

This is not a dictionary. It is a tool to get you to spend $14.99 to purchase the actual dictionary. This has no definitions or pronunciations, just a list of words that would be available

This dictionary is good for people who use English as a second language or high school students. It helps you increase vocabulary. For example, when you look up the word clique which means a group of people it gives you the definition and under SMART THESAURUS it gives a list of words which mean a group of people, so you will learn more words which mean a group of people such as cohort, bevy, brigade, caucus, constellation, contingent, coterie, etc. It helps you memorize the words and when you read further on each word, you will know more about the word. Only one CON: its expensive ( $25.99)

The Good and the bad. I like the example sentences especially for words with many definitions and parts of speech. It falls short of being the best by not having the derivations

When I tried to look up a word, it showed me 20-30 random unrelated words that presumably were defined. To get the definition I wanted, I would need to buy the full version. This app is only a downloadable advert for their products. Useless. The free desktop app, CALD3, is great for ESL teachers--simple definitions and UK and US pronunciation, including audio. Highly recommend the desktop version.
